Work With Me
You've decided to move into tech. Now you need a guide who speaks your language and knows the terrain — attending-to-attending.
Who this is for
You're a clinician who's decided to move into tech. You're not looking to be convinced — you've already had that reckoning. Now you need the plan: how to tell your story, how to get past the ATS (the applicant tracking system — think of it as the EHR for the recruiting team), how to land in a role that actually fits.
Think of this the way you'd think of Kaplan. Kaplan doesn't convince you to go to med school — it helps you get in once you've committed. That's what this is.
A note on fit
If you're a med student, sign up for the email list — consulting isn't the right fit yet. Same if you're looking for a small tech side engagement while staying full-time in practice. This is for clinicians committing to a real career transition.
What we do together
Skill translation
Your clinical career maps to tech — but the narrative needs to be clear and in their language. Hiring managers will consider non-traditional backgrounds if it's obvious you're committing to the new field, not spastically applying everywhere while holding on to the past. I help you build that story.
Networking
In tech, referrals and warm introductions are how people find their best opportunities. The recruiter doesn't even surface your resume to the hiring manager — you need an internal referral to get seen.
You already have a broader network than you realize — college friends in engineering, colleagues' spouses in the industry, alumni connections. I teach you the double opt-in warm introduction and how to activate the network you already have.
Career direction
We figure out which roles genuinely fit your strengths, what kind of company and team will bring out your best, and how to get there efficiently. No generic advice — this is specific to your background and where you want to land.
Transition prep
Your first 90 days in tech are like another intern year. I prepare you for the practical differences — how communication works (headline first, evidence second), how teams are organized, and what it takes to hit the ground running.
Medical director is product manager. You're not starting over — you're translating. The reframing is the work.
How it works
Every engagement is tailored to where you are. We meet over Google Meet, work asynchronously between sessions, and build around your schedule — because clinicians don't control their calendars.
Most engagements run 6–8 sessions over two to three months. We start with where you are and where you're headed. From there we build your transition together: narrative, resume, network plan, interview prep, and how to hit the ground running.
A premium, high-touch engagement — not a course you watch alone. The investment reflects the time, expertise, and personal attention involved in guiding a significant career transition.
Common questions
What if I haven't left medicine yet?
Most of my clients are still practicing when we start. You don't need to have quit — you need to have decided this is the direction. We work around your schedule and build the transition at your pace.
Do I need technical skills?
No. You need tech literacy, not engineering competence. You don't need to code. You need to understand how tech companies think, how they're organized, and how to tell your story in their language. Think of it as your pre-reqs.
Is everything confidential?
Absolutely. We meet over Google Meet and communicate over personal email. I understand that exploring this kind of transition requires discretion.
Why $4,500?
This is a personalized, high-touch engagement — not a course you watch alone. The investment reflects the time, expertise, and individual attention that goes into guiding a significant career transition.
